MEP Engineer

Assisting project manager in the implementation of projects.
Taking the conceptual design through to implementation and handover.
Preparing engineering design calculation and deliverables.
Progressing all elements of design in line with the Design Checklist.
Attending all project meetings as and when required and coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, etc.
Production of tender specifications and ensuring these align with contractual obligations.
Ensuring all inspection and test procedures are following the specified standards.
Other project related tasks as deemed necessary.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
Good competence in design and management of HVAC&R, Fire Protection and Safety, BMS, Utilities (Steam, Boiler, Natural Gas, Hot Water, Nitrogen, Compressed air), and Building Services.
Good working knowledge in using BIM software for design and engineering works, including good knowledge in using AutoDesk software (AutoCAD, REVIT) and MS Office.
Able to coordinate with different disciplines in a project.
Independent and organized, with a positive work attitude.
Good proficiency in English (Written and Spoken).
Applicant must possess own transport with valid driving license and willing to travel.

Work Scope:

To assist supervisor in delivering design or audit projects.
To undertake detailed design and calculations for Building Services (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and etc.), Energy Efficiency and Green Building.
To take on real responsibility and become an essential part of the team.
To attend to client’s meeting or site visits where necessary.
Any other ad-hoc tasks.
